  • We are looking for a Spotfire Dashboard Developer with the drive to work on challenging and high-profile projects

Developing client-facing dashboards capturing research data

  • You’ll be helping to establish the team responsible for working with Spotfire to build customised client-facing dashboards - displaying the results of their customer surveys

  • You’ll be producing client facing portals using our White Label solution

  • You’ll use a mixture of Spotfire’s out-of-the-box functionality, pre-existing custom visualisations, and working with the Development Team to amend/build new custom visualisations as required

  • From early on, you’ll be able to take ownership of the delivery of the Spotfire dashboards within a specific project

  • You’ll be involved in creating best practices and working together with the team across multiple projects to come up with great technical solutions to complex problems

  • You will work closely with multiple teams in the business, from the Insight researchers to the IT Development team to get projects up and off the ground

We’re seeking a combination of energy, adaptability and accuracy

  • Spotfire experience isn’t necessary, but a proven track record of being able to learn how to use new software quickly and reliably, and the drive to learn new skills using your own intuition & online resources

  • The following requirements are essential:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working with and processing data

  • A basic understanding of SQL & relational databases

  • A basic understanding of HTML, the ability to edit & debug prewritten code

  • Great time management - capacity to plan and prioritise effectively in order to manage work with tight deadlines

  • Good communications skills – comfortable explaining technical problems to a less technical audience and keen to work with internal stakeholders throughout the entire dashboard building process, from kick off to release

  • Ability to work in a thorough, precise manner - display excellent attention to detail, query anomalies, and accurately work through complex calculations

  • A great team player – as you’ll be working with others in the team, including providing training and support to more junior team members where required – but also willing to get your head down and work independently
