We are thrilled to celebrate Laura Gillespie’s ‘Newcomer of the Year’ win at this year’s MRS Awards.
The judges commented that they were spoiled for choice, but Laura stood out as a future leader in driving market research forward.
Nominated by ABA’s founder, Alison Bainbridge, and endorsed by retail leaders in fashion, home and food, Laura fully deserves her victory. The stakeholder trust Laura has earned at the highest level is testament to her abilities.
In the submission document, Alison wrote: ‘I am delighted rather than surprised that Laura has achieved ABA’s fastest-ever rise from graduate to Associate Director. Her rare blend of ability and likeability is a credit to ABA and market research.’
Laura joined us in 2010, having graduated with a First in Psychology from Manchester University. She now leads a number of our highest-profile accounts, including M&S and Superdry, and champions our strategic brand tracking programme on a global basis.
On her win, Laura said: ‘The most fantastic aspect for me was the celebration with fellow ABA-ers and clients. I felt so fortunate to have such brilliant people supporting me along the way and getting excited with me. ‘
ABA was also shortlisted for the Best Place to Work and Insight Management with AURA awards this year - the latter in partnership with O2 for our work in guiding their winning proposition for the iPhone 6S launch.
