Raindrops on Roses’ latest donations boost the fight against cancer
In June, Raindrops on Roses made its final donation of £30k to Herts Against Cancer, a charity whose sole focus has been to support local initiatives on early detection. The money raised went to the Endoscopy department at our local hospital, Watford General, and has been used to buy a much needed endoscope. This significant purchase has enabled more patients to be seen in a shorter timeframe – a crucial, life-saving advance.
Going forward, all profits raised will go to Action Against Cancer, which supports the ground-breaking work of the world-renowned oncologist, Professor Stebbings at Imperial College, London. The shop is now looking forward to the launch of its Autumn/Winter collection, which includes a great womenswear range that extends from night gowns to new jewellery ranges, home fragrances to homewares with a nod towards this season’s key colour themes. There are also new additions to the menswear collection, with quirky gifts for the man who has everything, plus an inspiring children’s range to delight their imaginations!
With Autumn/Winter ranges already proving a hit and the buying of stock for Christmas well underway, we’re excited to see what the season has in store and look forward to sharing this with you in our next update.
