Research is seeking an ambitious Junior/Graduate Graphic Designer or Graphic Designer to help deliver cutting edge and creative solutions

Play a pivotal role in building and enhancing ABA’s brand by bringing the stories behind data to life

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Manager to create visual outputs for our clients that are both cutting edge and engaging

  • Align with internal Insight Managers to ensure our product/service propositions and insight reports/presentations are communicated to our clients in a consistent and compelling manner

  • Have a big say in the wider execution of our marketing, advertising and PR activity – including the web design and social media activity

  • Manage our CMS system to help maximise our website potential and design

  • Be the lead on infographics at ABA as well as supporting high level graphic design in general

  • Work with other internal stakeholders such as HR, IT and Data to add value to other internal and external presentations and documentation

  • Working with video to create engaging marketing material and client outputs, to really bring our findings to life

  • Have the freedom to express and act on your own ideas

 

We’re seeking a combination of raw ability, adaptability and potential

  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills to create engaging and material in the ABA style

  • Have a flair for design with a strong attention to detail

  • A good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines

  • Understand infographics, data visualisation, colour theory, typography, typesetting, layouts and design

  • As our research teams work with PowerPoint a working understanding of PowerPoint and other Microsoft programmes is an essential

  • Knowledge in the following programmes essential – Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Acrobat Creative Suite and working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and MailChimp

  • Develop User Interfaces and UX wireframes/layout designs for Desktop, Mobile and Tablets

  • Ability to work in PC and Mac environments

  • A highly-organised approach with proven experience of delivering to multiple project deadlines

  • Ability to find creative solutions to fast-changing situations, and problem solve in a rational, clear-sighted way

  • Confidence to quickly build effective working relationships across the company

  • A degree in Graphic Design or something similar

  • No experience necessary though we will look at candidates with up to 2 years’ experience
