Field Project Executive

St Albans - 20 minutes from Central London

Award-winning research agency, ABA, seeks Field Project Executive to oversee projects for major UK retailers
Help meet growing demands from both internal and external Insight clients
  • The ABA Field team services both internal ABA Insight teams as well as a growing portfolio of external clients, working with exciting companies such as O2, River Island and Boden

  • The Field team is vital to the wider business because the quality, accuracy and cost of fieldwork has a direct impact on the Insight team’s ability to deliver excellent research

  • Field Project Executives oversee the key elements of the fieldwork project lifecycle; roles and responsibilities would include:

    • writing proposals and creating project costs

    • working with the Insight team to create respondent screeners/fieldwork schedules  

    • recruiting and managing the respondents who fulfil our various research needs

    • dhering to respondent/interviewer quality control standards

  • Projects are qualitative or quantitative and involve electronic or paper-based research and data collection 

  • You’ll need to develop and maintain successful relationships with internal Insight teams as well as a nationwide network of supervisors, interviewers and recruiters

  • In addition to the aspects of the role detailed above, the ABA Field team has targets for growing its external client base, so having some experience of client development would be advantageous

We’re seeking a combination of communication and organisational skills, and the successful candidate will need to:
  • Ensure ABA gets top-quality results from all types of qual and quant fieldwork

  • Juggle the planning and delivery of multiple tasks, prioritising effectively

  • Demonstrate scrupulous accuracy and attention to detail

  • Communicate confidently over the telephone or by email, establishing rapport with a wide variety of people  

  • Demonstrate the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and troubleshoot effectively

  • Be a great team player and work effectively within a small team  

  • Show intermediate Microsoft Office skills
