  • We are now looking for an ambitious Business Development professional to help us realise sales ambitions

  • Ultimately, we are looking for someone with a passion for business development, who is a self-motivated, self-starter not easily disconcerted by fast-emerging challenges

A great  chance for a tenacious candidate with a thirst for developing their career in a highly successful agency

  • You will be responsible for building awareness and interest in ABA’s Customer Experience proposition amongst new, existing and international companies  

    • researching and developing relationships with new and existing clients – executing engagement, contact plans and lead-generation activity 

    • promoting and following up on ABA marketing campaigns and thought-pieces designed to capture decision-makers’ interest

    • tracking decision-maker contact activity and conversations on ABA’s database, gathering intelligence on job role changes, contract renewal dates etc.

  • A key part of the role will be presenting new ideas, products and services to prospects and clients, via face-to-face, telephone and webinar activity

  • You will also attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on market/creative trends

  • Other opportunities include shaping ABA’s business development strategy, tactics and approaches – helping secure sufficient meetings so as to meet agreed sales targets 

  • You will assist our Business Development Director by playing a major part in setting our strategic CX targets and then conducting related business development activity

  • The successful candidate will benefit from many other experiences that life at ABA offers:

    • involvement in supporting a culture of business development amongst the entire team, ensuring they have a sound understanding of our sales strategy

    • responsibility for building strong relationships and working effectively with other ABA departments and our external partners to ensure smooth implementation of CX programmes

  • Whilst, initially, the focus will be on driving awareness and interest in ABA’s CX offering, there will be scope to support business development activity across ABA’s full product offering 

  • ABA, through a culture of determination and team achievement, has gone from strength to strength – the experience and a fresh perspective new people bring is vital in ensuring this success continues

We’re seeking a tenacious, go-getter who wants to further their business development career

  • Experience working in a sales/business development role is essential, while these broader attributes would also be desirable:

    • proven experience in generating new business development meetings in a professional services setting

    • ability to build trusting relationships both internally and externally, communicating effectively with all levels

  • A self-starter with a desire to talk to clients about their business problems and offer solutions
