Alison’s roots are a long way from the boardroom – being the daughter of a Lancashire farmer. She started ABA in 1994. Initially the company focussed on the UK fashion sector but then soon diversified – whilst always retaining its retail focus. Today ABA has offices in St Albans and Leeds plus a large portfolio of loyal, blue-chip clients.

Away from the day job, Alison lends her expertise to the running of the St Albans charity shop, Raindrops on Roses, which she created in 2012. This sells new, often locally sourced products and donates all profits to cancer-related causes.
